In this episode, we discuss what an EAP benefit is for employees within an organization. Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are an underutilized benefit in many organizations. In addition to providing mental health services, most EAP’s offer comprehensive work-life services, helping with childcare, eldercare, legal and financial support, and information. The EAP can also greatly support organizational leadership when dealing with complex or troubled employees or responding to a workplace crisis.
